The Beara Peninsula is a spectacular peninsula. One of the fingers of land jutting out of the south west corner of Ireland in Munster. It is saved of all the hustle and bustle that can be found in Kerry, simply as it is not possible to drive around in a coach. Here lots of photos and photography of the region.

Operation Transformation

Operation Transformation Lehanmore Community Centre. It’s all over and a great success it was too. Sponsored by Supervalu Castletownbere. Attended by over 20 people from around the area. Braving storms and dark nights to exercise 3 nights a week in the middle of a bleak winter.

The crew lost a total of 8 and a half stone over the eight week period, but possibly and more importantly “transformed” their lifestyle…

Ger Jerome Stone Mason

Ger Jerome Stone Mason at work on the Beara Peninsula. I decided to make a short video of Ger whilst he was working on the infamous “Dunboy Bends” . It would be nice if he did a voice over for it as he is the main character and it would help his video get more views.

Making Short Films

Making Short Films based on fiction is a time consuming activity. The more people involved the longer it takes. The film in question is “Caillte” based on an idea by Carina Jeisy. It will be around 8 to 10 minutes once it is finally finished. We won’t be able to publish it here as we are hoping to enter the film into a competition. The idea of entering the competition is to try and keep the motivation.

Edit:

25 March 2015, just been accepted for the Fastnet Short Film Festival in May, delighted.
