Cork Road Cycling Championships 2019

Cork Road Cycling Championships 2019 were held in Fermoy and organised by the Fermoy Cycling Club, sponsored by MIG.ie . The A1 A2 A3 and Junior riders set off for six laps of a short fast circuit with one drag of a hill. Grace Young Strata 3 Velo Revolution won the ladies title, Sean Barrett Kanturk O’Leary Stone won the Junior title and Neil Hodges Killarney CC won the Senior title.

Cronin’s Hideaway closes

Cronin’s Hideaway closes after 34 years of brilliant service to the people of Castletownbere and the Beara Peninsula. A big well done to Anne Marie and Sean for doing such a great job. They will be missed, however they will still continue to do local festivals and events with their mobile catering system.

Noel Kelly Welding and Fabrication is based in Allihies on the Beara Peninsula, quite possibly the most South Westerly Welder in Europe. Noel does great work and often works up in Cork City too. All of his work is carefully crafted. Galvanised and coated to any specification desired. All types of welding is done including Stainless.
