Mr and Mrs Harrington

Mr and Mrs Harrington, Sandra and Alan had a great day on Friday at their wedding. The weather was kind enough to them. The ceremony was brilliantly done by the priest, what a very enjoyable service. Then on to photo shoots and finally the reception at the Beara Coast Hotel. The service and food was absolutely excellent.

Watch a teaser of the wedding video here below

Alan and Sandra – Wedding teaser film

Allihies Inspireswhat a weekend

I don't suppose that this video will get watched very much at over 16 minutes long. It is a film for posterity of all the great things that happened in Allihies over the weekend. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed listening to poetry and readings of stories. Not surpised at all by the standard of work from Sami Switch and his friends and deligthed at the Music for Dogs theatre that capped it all off. Well done to all involved. Deirdre Collins what a woman for one woman.I can't remember all in the film but, amongst others:Carina McNally 0 SecondsAnita Brohail 39 SecondsTim Goulding 1:57 SecondsRachel Parry 3:43 SecondsTheo Dorgan 4:43 SecondsPaula Meehan 5:45 SecondsTony Curtis 6:38 SecondsSheena Dempsey 8:04 SecondsJane Landry 8:04 SecondsTadhg O'Sullivan 8:53 SecondsClaire Zwaartman 9:36 SecondsDiarmuid Hickey 10:40 SecondsAnita Daly 11:16 SecondsSykoni 12:02 SecondsSami Switch 12:15 SecondsBritney 13:05 SecondsCameron Bloomfield 13;16 SecondsNadette Charlet 14:07 SecondsBill Griffin 15:09 SecondsCarol Caffrey 15:31 SecondsSorry I missed a few things, I just did this for the memories.

Seven year old climbs Carrauntoohil

Matt Houlihan a  seven year old from West Cork climbed Ireland’s highest peak Carrauntoohil on Tuesday. The mountain is 1038 meters high and he made the ascent look very easy. He was with his family Heidi, Fran and Niall, plus his godfather Mike who flew over from the UK to accompany him.

Matt’s father Iñaki died of kidney cancer five years ago and Matt wanted to do something in memory of him. So he set up a go fund me page and got sponsorship to climb the mountain.

Watch a short video of Matt’s ascent here

or facebook version, probably needs the sound on…

Matt Houlihan 7, climbs Ireland's highest mountain

Matt Houlihan is seven years old, he did a sponsored climb of Carrauntoohil to get money for Kidney Cancer Research. He did a great job of it too, what a pleasure to go with him and make this film. There is a link in the film, write it down and donate some money for this lads brilliant effort.
