Michael Dwyer Festival 2019, the 21st festival and a great weekend was had by all. The weather was fantastic and a great group of musicans and their entourage arrived in Allihies for Three nights and two days of great music. There was also the opening of Lynda Loughnane’s exhibition in the Allihies Mine Museum which was based on the subject of musicians.

Cork Road Cycling Championships 2019

Cork Road Cycling Championships 2019 were held in Fermoy and organised by the Fermoy Cycling Club, sponsored by MIG.ie . The A1 A2 A3 and Junior riders set off for six laps of a short fast circuit with one drag of a hill. Grace Young Strata 3 Velo Revolution won the ladies title, Sean Barrett Kanturk O’Leary Stone won the Junior title and Neil Hodges Killarney CC won the Senior title.

Orwell 2 Day Race 2019

The Orwell 2 day stage race took part on the first weekend of June. Three stages in two days, really tough racing for A1 A2 A3 and Junior riders. Here are the three films of the three stages and some cropped images of the weekend. Paul Forristal won the GC.
