India 2019 Lifes a beach well almost

The first nine days in India I relaxed on my favourite beach in the whole wide world, well at least the favourite one that I have actually been to. I don’t actually like spending time on beaches, unless as in a life gone by, it’s as a base for scuba diving. However Gokarna is different and I am happy to spend time here. Possibly, as it is easy to walk into the village and have a change of scene or quite simply as it is such a chilled out place.

I did not do much filming or photography, I was just adjusting to being back in India, and after my time in Gokarna I booked a 22 hour train journey to take me North to the state of Rajasthan.

Allihies Mines Hack

Allihies Mines Hack  –  Laurenzia and Salvador
Laurenzia takes a hack up through the Allihies Hills to see the old Allihies Mines left over from the 1800’s. Salvador the Irish Cob was a little reluctant but they had a good time. The film was made with a Fuji Camera and a DJI drone. I rode my bicycle ahead of them to get the different shots.

Beara Sheep Shearing

Beara Sheep Shearing at Ballinacarriga at the farm of PJ “Phàdraig” O’Sullivan on the very end of the Beara Peninsula overlooking Dursey Island. PJ got a sheep shearing team in for the day and got all of his sheep done in one go. This is the second film in the new series of “Beara Paople and Places” and again there was no acting. The filming was done on the go, no stopping the action for special shots.

If you can suggest the next film feel free to do so…
