Neil visits Balydonegan

Neil visits Balydonegan Strand on a wet and windy January day to try out his new video camera in the car thanks to “le Parrain” Jean-Luc Raffa. A nice windy walk along the beach was great for Butter our dog to get out of the house and have a run. The old copper mines pier is very visible after many years thanks to the big storm that we had earlier in the month, which created lots of damage throughout Ireland.

Storm damage Reentrisk

Storm damage Reentrisk, the road is blocked in two places. Emergency crew Cormac, Steve and Richie went out and cleared the road in one place so that Marianne a Dublin resident could return home for work….. As well as drop off Nadette who is flying out to India.

The council are on their way with the necessary machines to tidy up and repair the road. Could take a day or two I guess.

I think Marianne might have had some inspiration after watching this….

Cinder-Eile Lehanmore

What a fantastic experience to share with my fellow actors. Some scenes from the panto at Lehanmore. The first of many more to come over the following years. The community enjoyed the laughs that were had.

It’s all over now, I think there is a good chance that something else will happen for the next Panto season 2014…

Lehanmore is out there on the edge of the world, the furthest you can get from Dublin and still be on the mainland.
