Reentrisk Aerial shot with a DJI Phantom 3. February 1st 2017. Passing some time and emptying the battery. I need to send off the controller unit as it has started to fall apart. Poor show really as I have not used the drone that much in the year I have owned it. It needs to be taken apart and fixed as buttons are falling off and it no longer switches on.

Strava record attempt

Strava record attempt by Neil Hodges. Riding a Viner Super Prestige cyclo cross bike. Neil beat the record for the ascent of the local hill known as Goula and is the current King of the Mountain. Here is the link to Strava

The Viner Super Prestige is a 9KG cyclo-cross bike. It comes supplied with Sram Rival 11 group set by Planet X cycles in the UK. A few problems in the ordering process meant I missed out on a few races. However the value for money from these guys kind of makes up for it. Fabulous bike to ride and very responsive.

Allihies Mines Collapse

Allihies Mines Collapse a hole appeared overnight on a field which was only being worked on recently with tractor driving all over it. This hole could swallow up a few tractors. The Allihies Mines were opened in the early 18th century. There are lots of underground passage ways in the area after extensive mining in the 19th century. For a few years Allihies was the worlds largest supplier of copper ore.

The land owners have put up warnings and all access to the private field is strictly forbidden.
