The Beara Peninsula is a spectacular peninsula. One of the fingers of land jutting out of the south west corner of Ireland in Munster. It is saved of all the hustle and bustle that can be found in Kerry, simply as it is not possible to drive around in a coach. Here lots of photos and photography of the region.

Lehanmore Panto The Sound of Music

Lehanmore Panto The Sound of Music was a great success last night for the fourth and last performance. It was the fifth Panto in five years, written by Bill Griffin and Carina Mc Nally with all the cast adding a few lines here and there also. Behind the scenes were Bernie organising the whole show and tickets, Billy Murry who painted the sets and Sarah O’Connor who was prompting and doing the sounds.

The kids had their own show “Tír Na nÓg” which was fantastic.

Garnish win against Urhan in the Beara JA Championships, a great match to watch on the 12th of August 2017. This film was just made up from shots taken from a static position on the side line as I was there for an altogether different job.

Beara Sheep Shearing

Beara Sheep Shearing at Ballinacarriga at the farm of PJ “Phàdraig” O’Sullivan on the very end of the Beara Peninsula overlooking Dursey Island. PJ got a sheep shearing team in for the day and got all of his sheep done in one go. This is the second film in the new series of “Beara Paople and Places” and again there was no acting. The filming was done on the go, no stopping the action for special shots.

If you can suggest the next film feel free to do so…
