Garnish GAA The Longest Road

Garnish GAA The Longest Road took place over Saturday and Sunday the 20 and 21 of February. The 24 hours were split into segments and each member of the team had to walk or run. Also of course many club supporters made the effort too. It was a wet and windy weekend. The aim was to manage to cover the distance from the GAA pitch at Cahermore to the pitch at Youghal.

That distance was easily reached, and the target of €4800 was more than doubled and currently stands at €10740. The monies raised are to be split between Garnish GAA & Castletownbere Hospital. The donation page is still open untl the 24th of February.

An evenings Bass fishing with Ken

A nice evening filming Ken fishing for Bass, from a distance… Rick turned up too for his evening walk with the dog. The time was right but the tide was wrong. Ken decided to give it a go anyway as it’s good therapy…

Happy with the results of the film shot with my Fuji XT2. It was dark but the quality and mainly the focus was spot on. I was also using a Rode Video Mic with dead cat.
