Mr and Mrs O’Dwyer had their wedding on a fabulous September day, the weather was just amazing. Covid 19 had it’s part to play for this wedding which was supposed to be back in May. Only 48 people were allowed to attend and I was delighted that Rachel decided she wanted to keep me on as the cameraman for the film. It was truly a wondrous day and despite the numbers being limited I believe everybody had a great time.
Early in the morning Rachel was happy that Tanya O’Neill and Marie O’Shea turned up to make them all look even more pretty than they normally do, with attention to their make-up and hair. Also she was delighted with the wonderful flower arrangements by Peter Tora.
The Allihies Mine Museum was the first stop after the service for some food, prepared by Pema which was brilliant. Then on to the Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff who did a fantastic job looking after everybody.
Great craic was had and the speeches were brilliant. Even a bit of a tear jerker from Ebby…
Mr and Mrs O’Dwyer, watch a short film below
And some photos between the filming.
