Brian and Gavin “At the Silage”. Cut day one, tossed day two in the afternoon, and baled in the evening. This film is shot until the last ten seconds with a zoom lens handheld. Which was a new experience for me, having shot before with wider lens and drone. The music is free from the internet.
Cahermore Silage 2019 working away at the silage that crazy time of year is upon us. I went out in the morning for the shots of the grass cut laying in the fields. Then in the evening back for some shots of the lads collecting and baling.

Roofing old shed in Allihies on the Beara peninsula. These old stone sheds need looking after so that the Irish countryside retains some of its farming heritage. Easy to knock down an old shed and rebuild a bigger and better one, but that means we lose some of the stone work that used to be so common in the old days. This shed only needed one side doing as the other side was replaced a few years ago as it receives more of the oncoming weather. Just need a nice fine day to repair the concrete at each end of the roof.
